Since 1956, the Washington Poison Center has answered calls from Washingtonians needing medical assistance related to poisons and toxic exposures. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generous support of those who see the value in the vital safety net services the Washington Poison Center provides statewide, 24/7/365.
In 2020, our poison specialists answered over 138,500 phone calls and managed 67,534 cases, saving lives while lessening the financial impact to both consumers and healthcare facilities.

Our Commitment to Our Donors
It is the policy of the Washington Poison Center (WAPC) that personally identifiable records, including names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers are used only for WAPC purposes. The Washington Poison Center does not sell or otherwise make available such information to vendors, exhibitors or others. The Washington Poison Center may use a 3rd party mailer to communicate with members about WAPC programs or benefits, but only with an appropriate confidentiality agreement in place to prevent unauthorized disclosure of such information. Sensitive information such as credit card numbers are deleted when the donation is complete.
