The Washington Poison Center (WAPC) is currently accepting applications for a Specialist in Poison Information Trainee. The WAPC is an accredited 501c3 nonprofit poison center serving the State of Washington. The Washington Poison Center is progressive in its public health outreach and involvement with the state regarding current and emerging health trends. We offer on the job training for this highly valuable skill, in the comfort of a casual office environment.
With its main center located in Seattle, the Poison Center is nestled between Lake Washington to the East and Puget Sound to the West, with mountains on both sides. We are located in Northgate across from the Light Rail Station.
We have full-time positions available. Applicant must be a licensed RN, Pharmacist, or Physician in the State of Washington with a desire to excel in a non-traditional role and a willingness to train. This position currently rotates to nights once every 12-14 weeks. Once you are fully trained, we offer a hybrid work model with onsite and remote privileges to help reduce your commute time.

Starting salary for a poison specialist in training is: $53.04 per hour
